3. Anxiety is often fear of what "might be" rather than focus on what

is real or true. Concentrate on what is true and positive.
Philippians 4:8 Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is ;;
noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely,
whatever is admirable-if anything is excellent or praiseworthy-

4. The bottom line is believing God is sufficient.


2 Corinthians 12:9-10 But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient
for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I
will boast all the more gladlyabout myweaknesses,so that Christ's
power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in
weaknesses,in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties.
For when I am weak, then I am strong.

5. Do we believe God is sovereign? Our days are planned for our best.
Trust puts anxiety to rest.
Psalm 139:16 Your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days
ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came
to be.

Isaiah 44:6 This is what the LORD says-Israel's King and


Redeemer, the LORD Almighty: I am the first and I am the last;
apart from me there is no God.

Isaiah 45:5-7 I am the LORD, and there is no other; apart from


me there is no God. I will strengthen you, though you have not
acknowledged me, so that from the rising of the sun to the place
of its setting men may know there is none besides me. I am the
LORD, and there is no other. I form the light and create darkness,
I bring prosperity and create disaster; I, the LORD, do all these
things.

6. God can use anything for his ultimate plan. God wastes nothing.
Romans 8:28 And we know that in all things God works for the
good of those who love him, who have been called according to his
purpose.

7. Anxiety for the future is cared for in God's ultimate plan.


John 14:1-3 Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God;
trust also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were
not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place
for you. And if! go and prepare a place for you, I will come back
and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.

Isaiah 26:3-4 You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is
steadfast, because he trusts in you. Trust in the LORD forever, for
the LoRD, the LoRD, is the Rock eternal.

Matthew 6:33-34 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness,
and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not
worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itsel£ Each
day has enough trouble of its own.
