Start to crochet the tail. Take the 1st fin. Insert the hook in the front loop of the extreme right sc (of those 3, which
were crocheted on the top of the fin) and attach the turquoise thread by 1 ch. Now crochet 1 sc in the same front
loop. Further crochet 2 sc in the next front loops of this fin (1 sc in 1 front loop). Take the 2nd fin and crochet 3 sc
in the front loops (1 sc in 1 loop). Further turn the crocheting and crochet 6 sc in the back loops of the both fins (3
sc on the 1st fin and 3 sc on the 2nd fin). In total, we should get 12 sc. It’ll be the 1st row. Further crochet in spiral
without ch in the start of the row. Stuff the detail tightly in the course of crocheting.

WIG
Crochet with the red thread of Alize Diva and hook №2 (2.00 mm).
1 rnd: 6 sc in MR 6 rnd for the bk lp: 2 sc, inc, (4 sc, inc)*5, 2 sc (36)
2 rnd for the bk lp: 6 inc (12) 7 rnd: (5 sc, inc)*6 (42)

5 rnd: (3 sc, inc)*6 (30)
Start to crochet the strands. Insert the hook in front loop of the next sc and make 1 sl st. Further make chain 66 ch,
insert the hook in the 2nd loop from the hook and crochet 65 sc. Further make 1 sl st in the next front loop of the
row. The 1st strand is ready. In order to make the following strand, repeat the steps. Make 1 sl st in the next front
loop of the row, make chain 66 ch and crochet 65 sc on this chain, further make 1 sl st in the next front loop of the
row. Thus, crochet to the end of the row. In total, there should be 27 strands in this row.

10
Now, with the help of 2 sl st, you need to move to the next row of the free front loops. Crochet 1st sl st in the last
front loop of the row and 2nd sl st in the 1st front loop of the row. Start to crochet the strands in the same way.
In total we should have 5 rows of strands. There should be 27 strands in the 1st row, in the 2nd row – 21 strands, in
the 3rd row – 15 strands, in the 4th row – 9 strands, in the 5th row – 3 strands.

ASSEMBLY AND DECORATION

Insert the end of the frame from the body into the hole of the head, start to sew the head, while stuffing the
neck tightly and free head space. How to sew the head carefully look at the link https://youtu.be/CvuHBh8E4no.

11
Begin with the tightening for the eyes. To do this mark the points 1 and 2 between the 15th and 16th rows, the space
between them is 11 sc and the points 3 and 4 between the 17th and 18th rows directly under the points 1 and 2 (as it
is shown at the photo).
Now insert a needle in the head, fasten off a thread and take it out in the point 1, then insert in the head in the point
3 and take out in the point 2, tighten a thread. Again insert a needle in the head in the point 4 and take it out in the
point 1, tighten a thread. Repeat this action 2-3 times, fasten off, cut a thread and hide inside the head.
How to make the tightening look at the link https://youtu.be/0yu9jzWJFEY.
If you insert the eyes with stalks, make the tightening the same way (insert a needle in the immediate vicinity of the
eye).
Glue the eyes (I glue with hot glue using a glue gun).

12
Embroider the whites of the eyes with the white thread (I use the whole thread Alize Cotton Gold №55 of white
color. Embroider the eyelids, brows and mouth with the black sewing thread. Embroider the nose with the flesh
thread between the 17th and 18th rows, the width of the nose – 3 sc. And finally embroider the freckles with the
brown thread (I use Alize Cotton Gold №690, 1 thread of). How embroider them carefully look at the link
https://youtu.be/ZOgEuPJSR9o.
Tint the cheeks and nose with dry pastel of pink color. How to do it look at the link
https://youtu.be/ySuMU0mQ4qo.

It’s left to make the ears. Crochet 2 details with the flesh color: 6 sc in MR. Tighten the ring, cut the thread, leaving
a long end for sewing. Sew the ears between the 15th and 18th rows of the head on the sides symmetrically to each
other.

13
Attach the turquoise thread Gazzal Baby Cotton to the 1st front loop of the 45th row of the body and crochet 42 sc,
furthet make 1 sl st in the 1st loop. Cut the thread, fasten off, hide the end.

Make the swimsuit cups with the purple thread (2 details). Make chain 6 ch, insert the hook in the 2nd loop from the
hook and crochet according to the scheme: 1 sc, 1 hdc, 1 dc, 1 hdc, 3 sc in the last loop of the chain, further crochet
on the other side of the chain 1 hdc, 1 dc, 1 hdc, 1 sc, sl st in the 1st loop. Cut the thread, fasten off.
Sew or glue the swimsuit cups as it’s shown at the photo (I glue).

Make the tightening of the navel. To do this mark the point 1 and 2 centered between the 48th and 49th rows of the
body, the widths between the points – 2 sc. Insert the needle in the body from the back side and take out in the

14
point 1, leaving a small end. Further insert the needle in the point 2 and take out at the starting point on the back,
tighten the thread. Tie the ends of the threads into a knot and hide them in the detail.

It’s left to sew the wig. To do this, using a pin, combine the center of the wig with the center of the crown of the
head. Sew the wig in the remaining free back loops of the last row.

15
Then, using pins, fix the bottom row of strands on the back of the head from ear to ear and sew each strand to the
head by 1 stitch.

Take a few front strands, twist them slightly and fix with a few stitches using a needle, as it’s shown at the photo.

Make the flower with the yellow thread.

1 rnd: 6 sc in MR
2 rnd: (2 ch, 3 dc, 2 ch, sl st in the next loop)*6
Cut the thread, fasten off, hide the end. Embroider the core of the flower with beads, after that glue or sew the
flower to the place where the twisted strands were attached to the head.

Proceed to the assembly and decoration of the fish. Make the eye’s tightening. Do it in the same way as for the
mermaid. Mark the points 1 and 2 between the 3rd and 4th rows on the sides of the nose and points 3 and 4 between

18
the 4th and 5th rows above points 1 and 2. Make sure that the points are positioned exactly in relation to the colored
