IMPLEMENTING RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR


THE OFFERING OF NEW BACCALAUREATE DEGREE PROGRAM

I. Qualifications for the Curriculum Proponent/s to Join MTIM


He/She must:
A. propose/introduce curricular program/s for MTIM
B. be paid with an equity amounting to Two Hundred Thousand Pesos (₱ 200, 000.00)
equivalent to one-hundred (100) shares commencing from the first year of the
curriculum implementation.
C. be willing to serve MTIM in whatever capacity such as faculty, dean, BOD, etc.
D. have financial capability to invest in MTIM’s programs and projects.
E. not be more than 65 years old.
Note: In case there are more than one proponent to work on the curriculum proposal, the 200
thousand pesos equity will be divided equally among the proponents. Each must come up with
additional cash investments in order to reach the 100 share requirements to become a full-
pledged member of MTIM.

II. Scope of Work


1. The proponent/s shall be responsible from crafting the curriculum proposal complying with
all the requirements from CHED; and documenting and processing for CHED’s approval.
2. All the requirements stipulated in the CHED Memorandum Order No. 78, series of 2017
otherwise known as “POLICIES, STANDARDS AND GUIDELINES FOR THE BACHELOR OF
TECHNOLOGY AND LIVELIHOOD EDUCATION (BTLEd)” must be complied completely.

III. Administrative Support from MTIM


MTIM shall support the curriculum proposal undertakings of the proponent/s such as
manpower and clerical services, supplies and materials, documentations; and purchase of
facilities and equipment needed in the approval and implementation of the new curriculum.
Note: Any expenses related to CHED approval will be shouldered by MTIM.

IV. Contract of Agreement Between MTIM and Curriculum Proponents


In order to legalize the crafting of the curriculum for CHED approval and implementation, the
curriculum proponent/s must enter an agreement with MTIM.

V. Time Frame in the Crafting of the Curriculum Proposal


The proponent/s are given one (1) year only to work on the curriculum proposal. To enable
MTIM to offer the curriculum on August 2022, it is required that the curriculum proposal must
be completed between January 2021 or January 2022 since CHED accepts curriculum proposal
for evaluation every January only.
