AFFIDAVIT

I, LOUIL B. VAILOCES, Filipino, of legal age, male, single, and a resident

of and with post office address at Bindoy, Negros Oriental, Philippines after
having been duly sworn to an oath in accordance with law, do hereby depose and
say:

1. That sometime in May 2020, I was assigned to Special Action Battalion

6, Sagay City, Negros Occidental (6SAB) and undergoing Sniper Course.

2. That sometime in December of 2020, I went to a parlor shop owned by a

certain Buena Fe Jo Chu alias “Che” at Poblacion II, Sagay City Negros
Occidental for a manicure and pedicure. Che then made conversation
with me and inquired if I was single, to which I responded in the
affirmative.

3. That Che then informed me that she has a sister who was also single and
was searching for a boyfriend. She added that she could give her sister a
call and ask her to come so she could introduce the same. After a few
minutes, her sister arrived and was introduced by Che as the person of
Jacquelyn Chu, single but a mother of two.

4. That in disbelief, I asked Jacquelyn if she had legal ties with the father of
her children, to which she responded that she was single and was not
married. From that moment, we began dating and had several sexual
encounters.

5. That to further convince me that she was not married, Jacquelyn also
stated that after she ended her relationship with the father of her children,
she had a live-in partner, a seafarer, but she refused to disclose his
identity. That if she was indeed married she would never do the same.

6. That during my first visit to their house, I asked her if she could show me
proof of her being single which she responded by showing me a copy of
her CENOMAR; however, I failed to confirm the date of when it was
procured. Even her parents confirmed that she was single, unmarried and
had no legal ties with anyone. At that moment, I felt relieved and decided
to take our relationship seriously with the hope of one day marrying her.

7. That without the fear of any legal implications, I was not opposed to
showing our relationship to the public, she was even posting intimate
photos of us in her social media (Facebook) accounts. Even in the
presence of her children, Levi Matthew C. Recto and Raphael Ceazar C
Recto, we were showing our affection. That both children witnessed our
intimacy and affair.

8. That during our first sexual encounter, she initiated the same by inviting
and leading me to Old Sagay City, Negros Occidental to check-in in a
resort.

9. That sometime in February, 2021, in my continuous background

investigation, and the news spreading that her husband was searching for
me and my identity, I found out that she was in fact married to the father
of her children, John Michael S. Recto. From that moment, I confronted
her angrily about the matter but she kept on denying the fact that she was
married.

10. That I kept telling her that if I only knew that she was married, I would
have never commit myself or be in a romantic and sexual relationship
with her. Jacquelyn never admitted as to the fact of her marriage, even so,
I decided to end my relationship with her to keep myself away from the
possible legal implications of being intimate with a married woman.

11. That sometime in March 2021, as my conscience cannot endure, I tried

reaching out to the husband of Jacquelyn and through the network of the
PNP organization, I was able to obtain the number of John Michael S.
Recto.

12. That I then called John Michael informing him that I was the man he
was searching for. During our conversation, I apologized to him and
explained that I have no knowledge of Jacquelyn being married. That if I
only knew the fact of her marriage, I would not commit myself and
engage in a sexual and intimate relationship with her.

13. That I am executing this affidavit to attest to the truth of the foregoing
facts and for whatever legal purpose it may serve.

IN TRUTH WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my signature this 5 th day of

February 2024 at ___________________________, Philippines.
