I. Objective

At the end of 60 minute class period, the students should be able to achieve the following:

a. Define electronic hand tools;


b. enumerate the different categories of a electronic hand tools with its type;
c. determine the function of its type;and
d. value the importance of electronic hand tools in the daily life of an electronic enthusiast

4. Motivation
Let the students give an example of an appliances, specifically electronic appliance. After they
give an example, let them think of a trouble that is normally present to that appliance/s and let
them think what they will do if they encounter that trouble.
B. Development of the Lesson
1. Unlocking of difficulties

a. Desoldering-a process of unsoldering unwanted parts or components in the circuit with the support
of a soldering tool.
b. Technician –a person skilled in mechanical or industrial techniques or in a particular technical
field.
c. Soldering –a process of joining two metals caused by heat.
d. Splicing –connecting two lengths of conductor
e. Tool kit –a small bag or box equipped with hand tools
