Check for availability of suitable approved backfilled material

(Material shall be Soil, Moorum, Gravel or mixture of these.
Backifilling material shall not contain; Swamps, marshes, bogs, Peat,
Log, Stump, Perishable material, Material susceptible to Spontaneous

salt susceptible to leaching. The size of the coarse material in the
mixture of earth shall ordinarily not exceed 75 mm

Check for availability of Lab. Max. Dry density & Optimum moisture

Check for availability of compaction equipment’s like roller/plate

compactor etc.

4 Check for200-300mm layer thickness of backfill material.

Check for back filling around the liquid retaining structures, Ensure

backfilling is done after testing for leakage.

6 Level of backfilling shall be confirm as per Architecture drawing

7 Mandatory MEP Clearance for the underground services line

8 Mandatory Waterproofing clearance for the sub-surface area

POST CHECK

1 Backfilling is done is required layers and required compaction is done

2 Field Density Test is done as per ITP and reports are satisfactory
