Activity No.1
The term natural logic describes how people naturally reason and make
sense of everything that is without having formal logic instruction. It relies in
ordinary experiences, intuition, and common sense. Personal views, thoughts,
and personal perspectives frequently serve as a basis of natural logic.
However, scientific logic is a methodical and formal approach to reasoning. It
is often referred to as formal logic or symbolic logic. It assesses and analyzes
arguments using principles, rules, and symbols. Scientific logic ignores
subjective opinions or feelings in favor of concentrating on the logic and
coherence of arguments.
The main differences of the two approaches in logic which is the Natural Logic
and Scientific Logic are follows:
● Rigidity: Scientific Logic is more exact and rigid, employing formal systems
and rules of reasoning whereas the Natural Logic is more adaptable and
susceptible to interpretation.
Draw a logic tree that illustrates the approaches in the study of logic.
