MEET MYSELF, MY VILLAGE, OUR


SCHOOL AND TRADITIONS
Goals and expected results for students:
To become familiarized with e-twinning and twinspace
To learn to present themselves and their families
To learn how to write/read e-mails in English
To learn how to communicate and exchange information with people from
other countries
To describe their school
To describe their village
To give details about their everyday life, traditions and customs
To learn about other countries, their habits, customs and everyday lives
To learn to respect other people’s traditions and religion

Subjects: Learning English as a foreign language, cultural awareness,


multiculturalism

Work process:
Partners can communicate by e-mail and the esep platform.
Students’ work, e-mails will be either written on word, scanned or
photographed and uploaded to twinspace.
If we wish to make videocalls, they can be made through skype, Webex or
zoom.
Calendar:
November-December-January:
E-mail or letter presenting themselves,
e-mail presenting their school, school life and subjects
exchange New Year cards
e-mail presenting a Christmas or New Year tradition in our country

February-March-April
a report about my country
videocall to meet each other
e-mail presenting their place
e-mail presenting a national holiday
e-mail describing a religious tradition
May-June
Description of May Day or spring celebrations
End-of-school-year events, parties
Goodbye e-mail, impressions about the project
Tools: Computers, tablets, e-mails, internet, cameras for photos, school
computer lab, projectors
