I. LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Content Standards The learner demonstrates understanding of how Anglo-
American literature and other text types serve as means
of enhancing the self; also, how to use processing,
assessing, summarizing information, word derivation and
formation strategies, appropriate word order, punctuation
marks and interjections to enable him/her to participate
actively in a speech choir.
Performance Standards The learner actively participates in a speech choir
through using effective verbal and non-verbal strategies
based on the following criteria: Focus, Voice, Delivery,
Facial Expressions, Body Movements/ Gestures and
Audience Contact.

as the “If Box”. Basically, they are the images that
depict the condition or the cause of the possible
outcomes. The second set of pictures are the “Action
Box” or the images illustrating the possible outcomes
of a particular cause.
 The students make the first step in making conditional
sentences through pairing the pictures.
 They will picture out the possible result of the pictures
in the IF BOX.
 Each representative will be given 10 seconds to pair
the pictures. The first student who can pair the
pictures will have the corresponding point.
