Subject : Nursing Service Development and Strategic Plan FY 2024- 2028, and Performance and
Budget Utilization Review for FY 2023

Dear Sir,

Good day.

The Nursing Service will be having its Strategic Planning and Performance and Budget Utilization
Review in October 2023, with tentative dates on the 19 th and 20th. This shall be a 2- day endeavor and
the main objective is to establish the Service’s five- year plan, including the setting of strategic goals
and determining ways to achieve them. This activity is also an opportunity for the Nursing Service to
improve departmental coordination and cooperation, efficiency of service and alignment of its
processes to organizational goals. Likewise, this is a favorable time for the Nursing Management to
confer, discuss and exchange ideas on existing procedures and systems, integrate mandates, create
solutions for gaps in service and performance, and lay out plans for their improvement.

In view thereof, the Nursing Service Office is hereby seeking approval for the conduct of this activity.
This undertaking will not only benefit the Nursing Service, but the hospital in general as we will be
able to maintain and improve as needed, the standard and quality requirements of our clientele.
