Dear Apollo Parents and Guardians,

It is our great pleasure to inform you that our school has received the honor of being invited to
participate in the City of Davenport Night Time Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 9, 2023;
which starts at 6:00 p.m. for spectators.

Your student has been selected to march in the parade on behalf of our school and the Volleyball
team, preceding the float and alongside our staff and other selected students. Should you permit your
student to be part of this school event, your student will need to arrive at 4:30 p.m. where the floats
will be staging at the Lewis Mathews Sports Complex at 400 E. Palm Street. This early arrival will
allow you to get a great spot to see your student as they represent our school. Please have your
student wear their volleyball uniform shirt with jeans and Santa hat to the parade. Please, also feel
free to have your student wear any lit-up jewelry as this is a night time parade and lights are great as
such.

Please fill out and sign below if your student will be able to participate and represent Navigator and
return to Ms. Cruz as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly. Should you have any questions,

Querido Padres de Apolo:

Es un gran placer informarles que nuestra escuela ha recibido el honor de ser invitada a participar en
el desfile navideño nocturno de la ciudad de Davenport el sábado 9 de diciembre de 2023, que
comenzara a las 6:00 p.m. para los espectadores.

Su estudiante ha sido seleccionado para marchar en el desfile en nombre de nuestra escuela y el

equipo/club de voleibol, precediendo la carroza y junto a nuestro personal y otros estudiantes
seleccionados. Si permite que su estudiante sea parte de este evento escolar, su estudiante deberá
llegar a las 4:30 p.m. donde se exhibirán las carrozas en el complejo deportivo Lewis Mathews en
400 E. Palm Street. Esta llegada temprana le permitirá obtener un excelente lugar para ver a su
estudiante mientras representa a nuestra escuela. Por favor asegúrese que su estudiante use su camisa
de uniforme de voleibol con jeans y gorro de Papa Noel. Los estudiantes pueden usar joyas
iluminadas ya que este es un defile nocturno y las luces son geniales como tal.

Por favor, firme y completa a continuación si su estudiante podrá participar y representar a

Navigator y regresar la misma con la Sra. Cruz lo antes posible para que podamos planificar nuestra
