Enrollment forms typically include fields for personal information, such as
name, address, contact details, date of birth, and other demographic data. They
may also include questions about the individual's eligibility for the program or
service, as well as any additional information needed for enrollment. Enrollment
forms are commonly used in various settings, including schools, colleges,
universities and etc. Parents and kids may now complete the procedure swiftly and
conveniently from the comfort of their own homes, due to online enrollment forms.
Enrolling online offers several benefits. Firstly, it's incredibly convenient, allowing
users to complete the process from any location with an internet connection,
saving time and effort. Despite initial concerns about security and user-

According to (Scispace, 2023) The disadvantages of an enrollment system
include the potential for unfairness in the enrollment process, the need for
physical proximity during device enrollment, and the reliance on self-signed
certificates for security measures. The enrollment system for compulsory education
aims to ensure fairness in enrollment opportunities by adopting random position
dispatching, but this may not guarantee equal chances for all students [1]. In the
case of enrolling devices in a security system, physical proximity is required for
enrollment, which may limit convenience and accessibility [2]. Additionally, the use
of self-signed certificates in endpoint security measures may pose risks, as they
rely on hardcoded certificate authorities and may not provide the same level of trust
and verification as certificates issued by trusted authorities

As stated by (Lang, 2023) In an education world that has progressively shifted
toward online options, the opportunity to allow parents to enroll their child online is
available as well. Yet when K-12 school districts consider that the journey of
their student data can start outside of the district staff’s control, the pros and cons
should be weighed heavily before making that software investment leap. Allowing
parents to input data online during initial enrollment can save school district
staff time, as parents are likely to be familiar with their children's
information. Additionally, providing workstations at schools where parents can
enroll allows staff to assist them. However, this approach doesn't eliminate errors
caused by poor keystrokes,
2|Page
which often necessitate corrections by district staff, potentially negating time
savings. Moreover, online enrollment software is typically available only in
English, and parents may struggle with the school district's Student Information
System (SIS) software. Additionally, there may be required data elements for a
student's record that parents cannot provide.

Have you wished your school registration process could be simpler and easier
for the school and the parents? You might want to consider switching to online
school registration. Online school registration offers significant benefits for both
schools and families. It reduces costs and saves time by eliminating paper-based
processes, streamlining record-keeping, and minimizing staff hours. Parents benefit
from the convenience of avoiding lines and redundant paperwork, as well as easier
updates and payments for school-related expenses. Additionally, centralized storage
of information allows for seamless integration and sharing among different
educational institutions using Student Information Systems (SIS). However, online
school registration faces several challenges. Firstly, not all parents have easy
internet access, potentially limiting participation. Schools may to provide
need computer access for registration, but this could only assist a number of
small
parents. Secondly, the setup requires staff training and may encounter initial
glitches. Lastly, computer outages during peak times or glitches can disrupt the
process, potentially necessitating manual data entry. (Kearney,2023)

Online enrollment systems offer several advantages and disadvantages.
One advantage is that they allow students to enroll in their subjects prior to the start
of the semester, providing convenience and flexibility for students, especially
international students who can enroll without traveling to the campus . Additionally,
these systems incorporate business rules and regulations, such as subject
prerequisites and payment status, ensuring compliance and efficiency in the
enrollment process . The use of notification mechanisms like SMS and email further
enhances communication and keeps students informed . On the other hand,
large online class teaching in higher education presents challenges such as
reduced face-to-face interaction, reliance on sessional staff, and maintaining
student engagement . Furthermore, the expansion of online degree programs can
impact local education markets, leading to enrollment declines in traditional
institutions and increased competition . Despite these challenges, online
enrollment systems offer individualized instruction, availability of up-to-date
information, and efficient use of time for both students and teachers (Scispace,

(Kaewsuwan,et al., 2022) The purposes of this research were to develop a Web-
Based Application of Registration System and to study users’ satisfaction. The
research problem is traditional student enrollment Students must come to the
college to write the registration form and the registration staff keyed the data into
excel program one by one after the students had registered for all subjects. The
registrar must bring the information to prepare the transcript one by one. Which
takes a long time and there are errors such as duplicates, typed wrong course
names incorrect course structure wrong grade point average, etc., from such
problems, thus causing the researcher study and develop a system to solve this
problem. In this research, there were 497 samples (registration and evaluation
Office, and students) from Pitchayabundit College, Nong Bua Lamphu, Thailand.
The overall satisfaction assessment result was very satisfactory ( =3.95). A web-
based application was designed, developed, and implemented as a web portal that

(Chamilco, 2023) The enrollment process of an educational institution
becomes very complex when the waiting time is prolonged and crowds of people
are created. Technological tools are the most effective way to deal with this
problem. Therefore, this research seeks to optimize the processes that
make up the enrollment management of an educational institution through the
implementation of a digital enrollment system. The development of the digital
enrollment system was

divided into four phases. Planning: Where the system requirements were
described. Design: A simple model was chosen according to the established
requirements. Coding: Programming languages were used that helped in
the structure, customization and operation of the system. Test: The system was
verified for errors. In this sense, the digital enrollment process was optimized,
such as student enrollment, registration and reports, allowing the reduction of
crowds, time and human effort. This results collaborative work at a distance
between the institution and the students, being a technological and innovative aid
that reduces the time of the enrollment processes, in an equitable and

(Sartain, et al., 2022) Urban school districts nationwide have increased within-
district choice for families. In response, district policymakers are overhauling the
systems for applying to and enrolling in schools, with the goal of making it easier and
more equitable for students to enroll in schools that are a good fit for them. These
universal enrollment systems offer a one-stop shop for students to learn about
different options, submit applications, and receive and accept offers. Using the
implementation of such a system in Chicago Public Schools, we examine how
applications to, offers from, and enrollment in different types of high schools (e.g.,
high-performing vs. low-performing schools, charter vs. neighborhood schools)
changed. The largest gains appear to be from streamlining applications and offers,
with students receiving a single-best offer and schools having more certainty around
their incoming ninth-grade class. We do not see changes in the shares of students
enrolled at high schools with high graduation rates or at charter schools that can be
attributed to the new system. These findings suggest that while universal enrollment
systems can improve and simplify the application process, they are not a panacea
for inequitable access to attending high-performing schools.

(Adarkwah, 2021) Globally, Information and Communication Technology (ICT)
is regarded as a dependable vehicle for facilitating educational reform
and development, a platform for communication, and as a means to achieve
the Sustainable Development Goal Four (SDG 4). Since the enactment of the No
Child Left Behind Act (NCLB) and declaration of the SDG 4, many countries have
opted to embrace the lifelong education for all by integrating ICT in teaching and
learning at all school levels. The Ghanaian Government’s initiative to ensure
“education anytime anywhere for everyone” by revolutionizing teaching and
learning through ICT has faced a lot of challenges and criticisms. The main
mission of the Ghana ICT for Accelerated Development (ICT4AD) in 2003 was
to transform Ghana into an information and technology-driven high-income
economy through education, but this goal is yet to be realized. In the wake of
the COVID-19 which has forced many countries and educational sectors to adopt
online learning, there is a need to discuss the effectiveness of online learning and
barriers to online learning in the developing contexts, and how to successfully
integrate ICT in schools for online learning, especially rural schools where
students’ educational careers are in jeopardy because they benefit less from online
learning. The paper identifies critical factors that affect online learning,
recommends post COVID-19 strategies to promote e-learning for policymakers in
education and the government, and concludes with a conceptual model for
emergency transition to e-learning.

(Mina, et al., 2021) The pandemic crisis brought a multitude of challenges in
every higher educational institution for the reason that the national government
imposed different restrictions and health protocols. Hence, this study aimed to
determine the predicaments, situations, and experiences of students specifically in
terms of the online enrollment process of Nueva Ecija University of Science and
Technology for the academic year 2020–2021. The researchers of this study used a
descriptive method of research to assess the feedback of 1,078 students in terms of
the system’s functionality, reliability, usability, efficiency, maintainability,
and portability. The results have shown that the students found the system very
good in terms of its functionality, reliability, usability, efficiency, maintainability, and
portability and only good concerning its efficiency. This means that the system
provides a high level of quality and requires minimal rectifications for improvement.
In that case, the researchers suggested improving the system in terms of efficiency
which is about the use of possible input to produce a quality and highest possible
amount of output. Finally, the researchers suggested conducting future studies
wherein the system will be assessed by Technical Experts in terms of technical
aspects of the system which is based on ISO/IEC 25010:2011 or software quality
standards.

(Esteves,2020) The enrollment system was created to speed up the processing of
each student’s data due to a large number of students in Bagong Silang
High School. Thus, we proposed a system that will speed up and prevent the
loss of another document and facilitate easy retrieval of student records. The
enrollment system was designed to carry out the proficiency involved in student
registration to address the slow process due to the lack of a software system. The
software system was extremely helpful in student encoding; it can manipulate
student encoding in an easy and clear process of the software system. The
enrollment system was a success because the system that was used to encode
each student’s data worked well. This system aimed to speed up the process of
working with enrolling students to save time when using our system. The negative
aspect of our system was to pass on our client’s system because they use a
laptop. Thus, only a few people can use our system. The result showed that the
system should be improved it is focused on the admin side and not on the
student’s side. The proposed system is friendly, extremely useful, and safe. It can
