Accessibility
Universal Design of our building increases the potential for developing a better quality and experience of
life for a wide range of individuals accessing the campus and hostel. It also reduces stigma by putting
people with disabilities and supports people in being more self-reliant and socially engaged.
Lighting
The campus with adequate light (both natural and electrical) from the entrance to the classroom
irrespective of the time.
Parking areas, pathways, and entrances to the building that are wheelchair-accessible and clearly
identified.
Signages
The building is facilitated with ample of high-contrast, large-print directional signs to and throughout the
office and to elevators and wheelchair-accessible restrooms.
Elevators have auditory, visual, and tactile signals and are elevator controls accessible from a seated
position.
Noise
There quiet work or meeting areas where noise and other distractions are minimized or facility rules, such
as no phone use, in place to minimize noise.
