Topic: The Punishments for The Past Fault in My Childhood.


I. Introduction
A. Hook: In the childhood, I made a lot of mistakes. As a result, I suffered consequences that I felt
stressed and fearful at that time.
B. Connection information: When I was in grade 2, I wanted to play more than learn, and was naive
to predict the results.
C. Thesis statement: I think my past mistakes were popular for everyone such as breaking mother’s
favourite vase, going out with friends without parents’ allowance, hadn’t finish homework before
going to school.
II. Body
A. Event 1 (paragraph 2): Breaking mother’s favourite vase
- Playing badminton with my cousin.
- Didn’t obey when warned.
- Hit the vase, then, I was kneeled.
Transition sentence: The next time, it was a boring day, my friends asked me for going out with
them, and I couldn’t refuse that.
B. Event 2 (paragraph 3): Going out without asking my parents first.
- Went out with friends.
- Played at train station.
- My mom sought me. Then, she hit me by broom.
Transition sentence: The following week, my teacher tested the previous lesson, and then, I
also got a risk.
C. Event 3 (paragraph 4): Getting bad score.
- I was so pleasure-seeking, so I didn’t learn.
- Stood in front of other students.
- Got a scolding and had bad score.
Transition sentence: At that time, I was embarrassed with other friends. After that, I went home
nervousness because the teacher could call my mom, perhaps.
III. Conclusion
A. Close of the action: I got a lot of punishment from those experiences.
B. I couldn’t forget the times that my mom hit me and scolded me when I didn’t obey.
C. The more stricter my parents were, the more hard-working I was.
D. Final sentence: From those punishments, and my parents taught me strictly, I am not pleasure-
seeking and concentrate on studying more.
