The teacher will provide a BINGO CARD to the students. The BINGO CARDS
represent some of the experiences of the students.
Direction: Teacher will pick a phrase from the box similar to the BINGO
CARD's phrases. Once the students already experience the phrase picked
by the teacher he/she will put a check ✅ to the phrase on the bingo card.
The student who will able to complete a straight, diagonal, horizontal or
vertical line will be consider as BINGO and will receive prize.
Activity # 1: BRAINSTORMING
Direction: The class will be group into seven. Each group will be do a
brainstorming within their group to the assigned role of a teacher as a
curricularist. After 5 minutes, each group must have a 1 representative to share to
the class what they have been discussed about the specific role of a teacher as a
curricularist.
Activity # 2: Define Me!
Direction: With the same group from teh first activity, each group will choose a
pocture of an individual who define the curriculum. After choosing, each group
must discuss, brainstorm, and share their ideas about the definition within their
group. For the presentation, the students will choose envelope with color paper
inside. Once the students get an envelope with red colored paper, he/she will be
the one to present their ideas.
Activity #3: Spin the Wheel
Direction: The teacher will spin the wheel with the names of the students,
whoever names will be pointed to an arrow as the wheel stop will be the one to
share his/ger ideas to the different ppint of view of various individual.
Direction: The teacher will select a student who will identify and answer the
following questions using the Spin the Wheel.
1. I have a good idea on how to make my learners pay attention to my
lesson. I will used the new idea and find out if it will work.
2. DepEd sent a standards, competencies and guidelines in teaching the
Mother Tongue in Grade 1 in our school. I will study and use it in the coming
school year.
3. There is so much to doin our school day. I seem not able to do, but I have
to accomplish something for .y learners. I have made a daily activity plan
to guide me.
4. I need a poem to celebrate the World Teachers' Day. I compose one to be
used in my class in Literature.
5. Enumerate the characteristics of a teacher as a curricularist.
6. Give 1 individual who defined curriculum and give a brief explanation of
their definition.
7. Give at least 2 individual under traditional and progressive point of view.
G. Evaluating learning. Test I (Identification)
1. The teacher write books, modules, laboratory, manuals, instructional
guides, and reference materials in paper or electronic media.
2. The teacher is at the height of an engagement with the learner, with
support materials in order to achieve the desired outcomes.
3. A curriculum is always dynamics, hence it keeps on changing. From
the content, strategies, ways of doing, blocks of time, ways of
evaluating, kinds of students and skills of teachers, one cannot find a
single eternal curriculum that would perpetually fit.
4. He state that curriculum is a written document that systematically
describes goals planned, objectives, content, learning activities,
evaluation procedures and so forth.
5. He is the one who state that curriculum provides answer to three
questions : What knowledge, skills and value are most worthwhile?
Why are they most worthwhile? How should the young acquire
them?
