Daniel Tammet, a 26-year-old math prodigy with autism, demonstrated extraordinary

calculation and memory skills. He had developed an obsession with counting and could
perform complex mathematical tasks effortlessly since he suffered an epileptic seizure at the
age of three. Throughout his life, Tammet viewed numbers as shapes, colors, and textures,
attributing movements and sounds to them as a good neurodivergent . He basically has an
extraordinary mind.

Despite his autistic traits, Tammet had a rich vocabulary and created his own language,
"Mänti", which he hoped to launch into academic circles. His unique approach to numbers as
visual stories was highlighted when he broke the European record, remembering pi to
22,514 decimal places that (like super awesome) . His daily life, marked by routines,
presented challenges with activities that involved excessive mental stimulation, such as
shopping. As an autistic person, he feels a certain way about tasks that neurotypical people
typically perform on a daily basis.

Having created a home-based business, Tammet had offered email courses on language
learning, numeracy and literacy. His approach allowed him to control his environment and
minimize human interaction. His life was explored in a documentary, where he reflected on
his meeting with Kim Peek, the inspiration for "Rain Man", and his shared love for key
historical dates and books. He really is a very unpredictable person and at the same time he
is not afraid to show his expertise.

Tammet's extraordinary story had begun with an epileptic seizure, finding solace in counting
and seeing numbers as a place where he belonged, as much as he can tell us. Even though
he was teased at school, his teachers always supported him. He admired them to such an
extent that he decided to have a career as an educator. Tammet valued his emotional
attachment to numbers, considering them his friends and emphasizing his attachment to
them.
