The graph and table provided present data regarding global water usage as well as water
consumption in various regions across the world.

There has been an increase in water consumption across all sectors, with agriculture being
the largest consumer of water. he majority of water is used for agriculture in all regions
except Europe, where water is primarily consumed by industries.

Water usage for agriculture steadily increased from 1900 to 1950, then tripled to 3000
km^3 by the year 2000. Similarly, water consumption for the other two purposes remained
negligible for the first 50 years before experiencing significant increases.
In Europe, 57% of the water is allocated for industries, with each of the remaining sectors
accounting for over 1/5. Conversely, in America and Oceania, over half of the water is used
for agriculture, while industries only represent 34% and 15%. In the other two regions,
over 80% of water is utilized for agriculture, with only a small fraction used to industries
and homes.
