NARRATIVE TEXT

2. The generic structure: orientation, complication and resolution
3. Language features: penggunaan Simple Past Tense dalam dialog
 Simple past (kejadian yang sudah terjadi di masa lalu)
 Simple past menggunakan verb 2 contohnya regular verbs -ed (move-moved, use used, try-tried,
stop-stopped) dan irregular verbs (go-went, take-took, get-got)
 Adverb of time: a long time, yesterday, last night, last week, etc
 Positive statements: S + Verb 2+ O
- She talked to her manager last week
- They visited her yesterday
ANALYTICAL EXPOSITION TEXT
1. The purpose: to persuade the reader that something should or should not be done
2. The generic structure: title,thesis, arguments and reiteration
3. Language features: penggunaan Simple Present Tense dalam dialogue
 Simple present (kejadian yang terjadi di masa sekarang berupa fakta dan sebuah kebiasaan)
 Adverb of time: every day, every morning
 Positive statements: S + Verb 1+ O
Singular (he,she,it)
- He works at the bank
(Kalimat positive, jika subjek singular maka
- She studies every night
ada penambahan -s/-es pada verb)
- The flight leaves at noon

Plural (I, you, we, they)

- I wake up at 5 a.m every day
- We take English course at noon
 Negative statements:
Singular: The flight doesn’t leave at noon (verb tanpa -s/es)
Plural: We don’t take English course at noon
