There are many interesting places across the world worth visiting. However, in the
following/this article we will be discussing the small village of Newport in the USA. Why did
we choose this location? In the following paragraphs we will explain all the reasons as to
why this small corner of the world should be your next place of visit/should be added to
your “to be visited” bucket list.

Mansions, fancy side (old money), history (one of the first villages), landscapes (very green)
One of the reasons why this place is interesting to visit is because of how beautiful it is. Newport is an
amazing island with beautiful beaches and green landscapes. Besides, behind that beauty we can find the
great history it has, because it’s one of the oldest places in the USA. If you love old places and history,
this is the place to be! An exotic activity, for example, would be to visit the amazing mansion houses of
important and famous people. Before visiting this town, I had been told that the people that could afford
to live there were very few, as the properties were extremely expensive. When I visited, I discovered that
they were absolutely right, this town belongs to the most affluent in society.

- What the most interesting thing was

History, one of the first towns to be founded. Sailing history. Many movies were recorded there. 1776

This place is very touristic because it has a lot of monuments to see, but for me the most interesting thing
about Newport is the history there. Newport is one of the oldest towns in USA, because it was one of the
first colonized places by English people, so the difference between this town and other parts in the USA,
is the building structure. If you go there, you can see that the streets and the buildings are very old; many
movies have been filmed there because of that. Additionally, they have a lot of sailing history. The
American cup was created there, and people there are very fond of /passionate about sailing. If you were
to go to Newport, you would find wonderful places to discover.

- Any advice you have about visiting the place.

- Only travel there for a few days, small, go to Boston. Location of the
apartments, not good public transport, renting a car. When to visit

However, before booking your trip, you should consider the following recommendations. On the one
hand, you should know that Newport is a small island so you can go there only for a couple of days.
Therefore, if you want to stay there for a little longer, I recommend you rent a car/you will need to rent a
car and go to other towns, beaches or big cities like Boston. Besides, renting a car is a good idea because
the public transport there is really bad/not optimal/ideal/not the most reliable; you can go to visit things
only by car or walking. On the other hand, the weather there is warm and nice only during the summer.
So, if you want to book an apartment you should go in September, the weather is still lovely and it is
cheaper than in August or July. The last recommendation I have is that you should rent an apartment in
town, you have a lot of things to do there, and you have plenty of restaurants and shops nearby.

Conclusions

If you love history, architecture and family-appropriate activities, don’t think about it and book
your next trip to Newport. You won’t be disappointed!
