Report on Executive Volunteers Symposium YEC 2023

Date: 5 November, 2023

“The ‘Volunteer Symposium ‘served as a gathering aimed at gathering


students to engage themselves in inspiring and positive activities on a
recognized platform by university. Held on November 5th, at Hall of
Education department Chella Campus Muzaffarabad, this event brought
together 120 of participants from colleges and university. In this report,
a comprehensive overview of the proceedings, discussions, and
outcomes of the event will be provided.”

The event was hosted expertly by Muqaddas Mahroof and


Umm.e.Ruman. Started from Talawat by Mashood.ul.Haq and naat by
Robia Zaman. It was followed by all the participants. Standing in the
honour of National Anthems of Pakistan and Kashmir.

After National Anthems, Mir Ahsan Javed President Youth


Empowerment Club, started the event with introductory note warmly
welcoming the audience and giving them overview of the whole event
and guiding them about YEC.

Introductory note was then followed by “Guidelines” by Aamir Bashir. He


made the audience aware of some rules and regulations related to the
event and for the people who was present, he stated the policies of
YEC that are important for them to understand, in order to be a part of
club.

The event had the artistic value of its kind. As one of the cabinet
member, Muqaddas Imran showed her art work. Majorly based on the
theme of solidarity with Palestine, she exhibited her recent work on
Palestine. She also made audience aware of recent casualties in
Palestine with a brief overview of history. Furthermore, in her segment
a video on ‘how HHRD is working in order to help people in Palestine’,
so this artistic event was very helpful amid recent war happening in
Gaza.

The event then commenced with a session on “Communication skills


and its importance” by Junaid Iqbal who is a peace ambassador and
assistant professor at University of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Neelum
Valley campus. His session on Communication skills was very inspiring
and he expertly explained the importance of communication skills in
personal and professional paradigms of life. Attendees actively
participated in this interactive session and asked a lot of questions
which were answered gracefully by Mr. Junaid Iqbal.

As the event proceeded, one of our Volunteers, Zara Ashfaq voluntarily


paid tribute to YEC and HHRD for the work they are doing in society.

Special guests of honour were present in the program.

Dr Tehmina professor at Department of Geology appreciated the


volunteers for their hard work.

Sir Waqas Chughtai dealing EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT PROGRAM Of


HHRD Muzaffarabad shared his experience with the audience.

Sir Israr Ahmed Director of YEC-HHRD clubs all over Pakistan Briefly
described the contributions and efforts of HHRD for the needy people.

Sir Nadeem Former Dean of arts, Chairman and HOD, acting Vice
Chancellor of University of UAJLK shared words of wisdom and
motivated the volunteers in the hall.

Later, Guests were presented with the Guests Awards for their valuable
presence.

A segment of BEST PERFORMERS was held to appreciate and


motivate the hardworking and passionate cabinet members.

A general Certificate distribution segment was held to appreciate and
inspire the cabinet members and executive Volunteers of the club. The
program was concluded with the lunch for guests, Volunteers and
cabinet members.

“In conclusion, the “Volunteer Symposium” successfully achieved its


goals by fostering insightful discussions, facilitating networking
opportunities, and presenting innovative ideas. This event not only
provided a platform for knowledge exchange but also paved the way
for potential collaborations among attendees. Moving forward,
focusing on community building could enhance the overall experience
for future events.”
