Exam Questions Types

Candidates can expect different types of questions during the exam, which may include
but not limited to:

● Fill in the blanks

Retaking the Exam

If the candidate does not pass on the first exam attempt, the candidate is encouraged to
continue study and retake the exam. Candidates may take the examination up to three times
within one-year time. If one year of eligibility period expires without passing the examination,
candidates must reapply for the certification.

CB-PMO® Application and Eligibility Criteria

To eligible for CB-PMO exam, candidates will have to full fill the following eligibility criteria:

TRAINING EXPERIENCE

21 hours of CB-PMO® certification training by ● Any project management professional

authorized PMO Global Institute Instructor having at least 5 years of Project
Management Experience can pursue
the CB-PMO® Certification.
● Bachelor degree with 7500 hours of
leading and directing project
management experience or High
School Diploma or Associates Degree
with 10500 hours of leading and

Required Documents while submitting the application:

1. Identity card e.g. passport copy, National ID (English), driving licence
2. CB-PMO® Training Certificate provided by PMOGI’s authorized training instructors
3. Curriculum vitae (CV) to prove required project management experience.

Rescheduling the CB-PMO® Exam

If you reschedule or cancel your exam within 30 days of your scheduled appointment, you will

If you reschedule or cancel your exam within 48 hours of your scheduled appointment, you will
be charged a fee of US $99 - Payment link (Click here)

Certificate Appeal Procedures

All challenges to the PMOGIs Certification Program are governed by the PMOGI Certification
Appeals Procedure. This appeal process is the only method to review decisions made by PMOGI
regarding desired certification status. Examples of an appeal include but are not limited to:

● Rejection of a certification application

● Dispute over a failed audit
● Failure to meet renewal requirements resulting in a certification being revoked
● Invalidation of exam results and related actions due to candidate misconduct

All certification related appeals must be reported within 15 days of the event/incident cited,
made in writing, and sent to PMOGI Certification body: via an email at
support@pmoglobalinstitute.org

To request an appeal, you must submit a request and include evidence supporting the reason for
the appeal and the nature of the request, including all reasons why the action or decision should
be reviewed and changed. An appeal must include:

● Name and e-mail address of the appellant

● A description of why the appeal should be granted; and
● Any applicable evidence that supports the appeal.

We will acknowledge, in writing, your appeal within 3 days upon receipt of the same. The review
and validation of the appeal will occur in a constructive, impartial and timely manner. You will be
notified of the appeal decision within 15 days of receipt of the appeal, unless circumstances
warrant a delay. If a delay is expected, the candidate will also be notified in due course of time. A
record of the appeal, including any subsequent action(s) taken, and the decision made will be
maintained by PMOGI. All information pertaining to the appeal will remain confidential. For any

What is the process to renew the certificate?

Candidates needs to earn 30 hours of PMO Professional Development Unit (PMOPDU).
