Dear Mayor Mendez,

Greetings of Peace and Good Health!

The Rural Health Unit of Villanueva through utmost consideration and approval from the Department of Health Central
Office has provided us with a Physician under the Doctor’s to the Barrios (DTTB) by the National Health Workforce
Support System (NHWSS). Under my direct supervision, the physician shall execute all the Department of Health
programs and assist during medical consultations as our patients are increasing everyday in the health facility.

Considering the previous agreement upon the existence of our Doctor’s to the Barrios (DTTB) from the
Department of Health Center for Health Development Northern Mindanao in the Rural Health Unit of
Villanueva, shall be provided with a stipend worth of Php 10,000.00 and Board and Lodging worth Php 5,000.
Hence, a total of Php 15,000.00 will be provided to our Physician on a monthly basis. This is part of the
requirement mandated by the Department of Health prior to application for request of DTTB in the Municipality.

Furthermore, our Doctor’s to the Barrio’s (DTTB) is currently renting an apartment nearby the Rural Health Unit for
easier accessibility in case of emergency and other health concerns. Thus, less expense on the fare as well.

As we envision a quality health services through availability of Physician in the Municipality, our stipend to allocated
for our DTTB would be great support for his safety and livelihood while providing health services in our Municipality.
