PIMMAG Internal HSE Memo RE: TRAVEL AND EVENT ADVISORY Dear respective Base Managers, In light of recent Covid-19 outbreak globally, Its of great concern to PIMMAG. In accordance to the statement issued by Ministry of Health Malaysia on February 27, 2020, PIMMAG recommends the following: 1. PIMMAG staff to postpone or reschedule all travels to the following destinations with immediate effect: - PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF CHINA (Includes Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau) - TAIWAN - SOUTH KOREA ~ JAPAN - ITALY “IRAN. Note: Avoid transits at airports in the above destination. However, if is unavoidable, to follow precautionary measures to reduce risk exposure, - Use masks and stay in the lounge at the airport to minimize contact particularly in crowded areas. - Pay attention to personal and hand hygiene (frequently wash hands with soap, or use hand sanitizer) - Keepa safe distance from people who seem ill (1-2 metres) and avoid direct contact with them, 2. In order to reduce the risk of transmission, staff are encouraged not to attend and postpone any sort of non-essential activities, regardless of whether they are internal or external participants, 3. Staff are encouraged to use digital alternatives for holding meetings and engagements (such as Skype Meetings, DOT App, Webinats, etc.).
