Abstract- Dynamic topology is the key feature of Mobile Adhoc Network (MANET), making it

susceptible to various security threats. Black hole and wormhole attacks are two highly
malicious threats to MANETs, where data sent to nodes can be easily intercepted. In this paper,
we have introduced a new blockchain-based dynamic source routing protocol named Advanced
Blockchain DSR (ABCD). First, we have calculated the minimum distance path from the source
to the terminating node using Dijkstra's algorithm. To enhance security, we have implemented
homomorphic encryption techniques on data packets. Utilizing blockchain technology, the data
is stored digitally without the requirement of a third-party database. To validate our modified
protocol, we compared Advanced Blockchain DSR (ABCD) with a standard DSR routing
algorithm. Then, we proved that the blockchain-based DSR convention outperforms the
standard one by a considerable percentage in terms of packet delivery, throughput and the
transmission time.
