Narrative Report
YES-O Elections S.Y. 2021-2022

The Youth Environment in School Organization is a school- based- co- curricular

organization established to serve as a significant venue for pupils actions and movements
towards safeguarding, protecting and conserving the environment. It serves as a venue for
elementary pupils to develop their leadership and social skills. Officers of this organization
function as leaders in school. Through concerted efforts, they can achieve their objectives and
able to help and attain more of its goal. Whose purpose is to inculcate in minds of our young
people their vital role in caring for the environment, train the pupils to become better citizens in
the future and to let them aware on environmentally- related issues to achieve sustainable
development and to protect Mother Nature.
The YES-O election started with filling of certificates of candidacy last November 22,
2021.
The COMELEC Adviser formally announced the official list of candidates for YES-O
election. November 25, 2021 was the campaign period. The following day, November 26, 2021,
was the Election Day. There were two parties aiming for the position the Team A and Team B.
Both parties worked hard to earn favor from their co-pupils. Campaign materials were posted on
designated area. Only 28 selected pupils from Grade 4 to 6 representative are allowed to vote due
to the pandemic. After the election, appreciation of votes by the COMELEC board of election
happened. Then posting of results followed.
The following were the victorious during the election:

On that same day proclamation of winners was done at 11:00 o’clock in the morning with
their YES- O Coordinator Michalle D. Patcho and yours truly. So far election were successfully
conducted were pupils are given the chance to participate and exercise their right of suffrage
during the election.
