Overdose Toxicity of Herbal Preparation of Luffa Echinata: A Case Report

ABSTRACT

Luffa echinata (Roxb), commonly referred to as "Bindal" in Hindi, is a thin herb that is a
member of the Cucur bitaceae family and is found throughout India. Traditional medicine
also uses the plant's roots to cure bronchitis, piles, jaundice, vaginal discharge, and as a
laxative and painkiller. which he has consumed nearly 5-6 hour before, to improve his
digestion and jaundice symptoms. there was no bloating. He was managed conservatively
with I/V Fluids, liver enzyme and bilirubin level are gradually improved over a period of 4-5
Days and Patient was Successfully discharge after 6 Days.
