Dear Sir Oliver R. Niere,

Welcome to the content validation of the instruments. The purpose of the instruments is to
gather data regarding the pre-service teacher competencies in lesson planning. The purpose of the study
entitled "Exploring Science Lesson Plan Structure and Organization for Skill Cultivation in
DMMMSU-MLUC" is to explore the proficiency levels of lesson plan structure and organization
specifically in the context of science education Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University - Mid
La Union Campus. The focus is on understanding how well the lesson plans in the science pre-service
teacher are structured and organized to facilitate skill cultivation among future pre-service teachers.

For each set of instruments, there are three columns: The first column is for the “Items of the
Instrument”, the second column is for your “Remarks/Comments/Suggestions” and the third column is
for your “Validity Rating”. For the validity rating, indicate the rating that corresponds to the degree to
which you believe the item is a valid assessment to the given purpose of the instruments. Please give
your rating for each item according to the scale below:

5 ─ Very Much Valid The indicator/s fully met in all respects the purpose of
the instrument

4 ─ Much Valid The indicator/s met in all respects the purpose of the
instrument

3 ─ Moderately Valid The indicator/s met the purpose of the instrument but
some improvements are needed

2 ─ Fairly Valid The indicator/s met minimally the purpose of the

instrument and major improvements are needed

1 ─ Not Valid The indicator/s did not meet the purpose of the
instrument
