LE CORBRUSIER’S

LC2 ARM CHAIR

Minimalist Style
by: Solomon, Gaille Felicity S. | BS ARCHI 2-4
The LC2 armchair, created in 1928 by the acclaimed
architects Le Corbusier, in collaboration with Charlotte
LC2 ARM CHAIR
Perriand and Pierre Jeanneret, is an exceptional
architectural masterpiece. The LC2 was conceived
during the International Style movement, which
exerted significant influence over architecture and
design in the mid-20th century. The International
Style, characterized by its focus on efficiency,
simplicity, and clean lines, perfectly embodied the
progressive ideals of the era. Its clean design and
smooth lines perfectly enhance the modern and
minimalist style of interiors. However, the LC2 can
infuse traditional settings with refinement and lasting
charm.
