Design Criteria

The anode shall be installed on the repaired and prepared
concrete surface using non metallic fasteners. The fasteners
are installed in 6mm dia drilled holes at a density of approx 6
to 8 per sq m. The anode mesh should be flush with the
concrete surface, although a maximum gap between anode
and concrete surface of 12 mm is acceptable.

The mesh anode shall be connected to the Fosroc Nitogard


CB12 conductor bar system using proprietary resistance
welding equipment.

Positive feeder cables shall be connected as per the approved


method statement.
