Special Plural Nouns


Plural nouns refer to more than one person, place, thing, or idea. Just add -s or -es to most nouns!

Verbs in Agreement
S is sometimes added to a verb when one person or thing
is doing the action. If more than one person or thing is doing
the action, no s is added to the verb.

Examples: The kid throws the baseball.

How to Use Verbs
When a verb ends in s, it usually tells about one person or a thing.
If a verb doesn’t end with an s, it usually tells about multiple people or things.
