UNAM Readiness Programme

The University of Namibia (UNAM) is pleased to announce the introduction of a
sponsored UNAM Readiness Programme. This initiative is part of our commitment to
enhance equitable access to higher education.

The programme is specifically designed for prospective students aiming to enrol in

UNAM degrees and diplomas in the fields of Agriculture, Mathematics and Science,
Education and Human Sciences, and Commerce & Management Sciences.

For whom is the programme intended: This programme is open to learners who have
attempted the Advanced Subsidiary (AS) level and legacy learners (i.e. NSSCH,
HIGCSE) or equivalent, yet do not meet the minimum admission requirements for
UNAM. Successful applicants will not be required to pay to attend the programme.

Please note, the UNAM Readiness Programme does not facilitate entry into
professional qualifications accredited by professional bodies, such as all Health
Sciences-related programmes, Engineering, Law, Military Science, and Chartered
Accountancy programmes.

Campus Locations: The programme will be offered across several UNAM campuses
including Katima Mulilo, Khomasdal, Main, Oshakati, Rundu, and Southern Campuses
only.

Application Process:
• Application forms are available for download from the UNAM website or can be
collected from any UNAM campus.
• Online application is also available at: www.unam.edu.na/online-application
• The application period is from 16 February to 15 March 2024
