    System Requirements: Hardware installation


    • Operating system: Microsoft Windows XP (minimum), Windows Vista or
    Please install hardware AFTER installing Medikro

    Spirometry Software.
    • Microsoft .NET Framework version 2.0, 3.0 or 3.5. If you have version
    4.0, you still need one of the older versions installed. 1. Connect the Spirometer Unit to the USB extension Cable
    2. Connect the Pressure Tube to the Spirometer Unit
    • Display resolution: 1024x768 (minimum), 1600x1200 recommended 3. Connect the USB extension cable to the PC (USB port)
    with incentive. 1024x600 for Ultra Mobile PCs.

    • CPU: 1 GHz or faster.


    Caution Always use the USB extension cable. The USB extension
    • RAM: 512 MB (minimum), 1 GB or more recommended. cable prevents damage to the spirometer.
    • CD-drive for inserting linearization files.
    Caution Read User Manual under Medikro Spirometry Software
    • USB or serial port for Medikro spirometer. help function prior use.

    Caution More memory may be required to run additional


    applications simultaneously.

    Software Installation
    Warning Install Medikro Spirometry Software before you
    connect the spirometer to the computer. This installation will
    install also the USB to Virtual COM port driver.
