Lab Experiments:
1. Study of the Open Circuit Characteristics (OCC) of Separately Excited DC Shunt
Generator.
2. Study of the Torque Speed Relationship of DC Series Motor & DC Shunt Motor.
3. Study of the Voltage Current Relationship of Single-Phase Transformer.
4. Study of the Different Loading Conditions of Single-Phase Transformer.
5. Study of the Different Loading Conditions of Alternator.
6. Study of the Alternator Synchronization.
7. Study of the Starting and Operating Characteristics of Three Phase Synchronous
Motor.
8. Study of the starting, no-load and full-load characteristics of Three Phase
Squirrel-Cage Induction Motor.
9. Study of the Torque Speed Relationship of Wound Rotor Induction Motor with
Variable Resistance.
10.Study of the Starting and Operating Characteristics of Capacitor Start Motor &
Capacitor Run Motor.

General Rules and Regulations:


1. No late submissions, Lab Reports are to be submitted in the next week after the
experiment is conducted. No reports will be accepted after that.
2. No Cell Phones in Class, in case of emergencies take permission and talk outside
the class.
3. Any Sort of Plagiarism and cheating will directly result in ‘0’ in that Assignment.
4. No Cell Phones and trips to Rest Room in Exams, Cell Phones will be inside bags
and switched off.
5. Individual Lab report.
