Ammeters Circuits

Discussion:
A series circuit has all of its components on a single wire, whereas a parallel circuit has its
components on multiple wires.
Current in a series circuit remains constant regardless of where it is in the circuit. That is, the
current at the start of the circuit equals the current at every other location in the circuit.
The current at ammeter II and ammeter III is equal to the current at ammeter I or ammeter IV
because when the current enters a branch, it is split based on the resistance of the branches and
rejoins at the junction's end point.

Precautions:
● Gloves were worn to prevent electric shocks.
● Hands were kept dry to prevent injuries as a result of electric shocks.
Sources of errors:
● Wires were ill connected at the start preventing an inaccurate initial reading.
● Bulbs were not rated which may result in inaccurate measurements.
Conclusion:
In conclusion, it was discovered that current in a series circuit stayed constant throughout the
circuit, whereas current in a parallel circuit divided at junctions in response to the resistance in
these circuits.
