“Let your dreams propel you to unimaginable heights”. This quote has been my motivating
and guiding factor for the longest time in my life.

I am writing to express my strong interest in pursuing a Master’s degree in Project

Management at Central Queensland University. I want to upgrade my qualification and
knowledge in the management stream. After extensive research, I believe Central
Queensland University is the best fit for my needs in terms of my knowledge, abilities, and
career objectives.
I did my schooling under the Central Board of Secondary Education (C.B.S.E.). During my
schooling, I was not only focused on academics, but also actively participated in
extracurricular activities as well. I have completed my secondary education of Grade 10 in
the year 2014 form Gurunanak English Senior Secondary School, Bhilai, Chhattisgarh, India
and Grade 12 in Commerce stream in the year 2016 from the same school. I completed my
Bachelors of Commerce in 2019 at Hemchand Yadav University, Durg, Chhattisgarh, India.
After completing my graduation, I joined Gill Goods Carrier in June 2019, as an Assistant
Manager. Here, I was responsible to manage the entire staff. I have worked from June 2019
to December 2021 and there were never any complaints regarding my work and I used to
work with dignity and honestly. As I had a quest for learning, I pursued the Master’s degree
in Commerce in April 2023 at Hemchand Yadav University, Durg, Chhattisgarh, India.
While working at Gill Goods Carrier, it became evident that my lack of managerial
experience was hindering my effectiveness at work. Recognizing that proficiency in
management skills was crucial beyond technical expertise, I reached a point where I found
myself stuck in my career progression. Consequently, I determined that pursuing a master's
program was the necessary step to address this gap and equip myself with the knowledge
and skills required to advance my career and contribute more effectively to the growth of my
firm.
I believe a Master’s in Project Management will compliment my background in commerce
and equip me with versatile skills that will boost my career prospects. Master’s in Project
Management will equip me with specialized skills in planning, execution and controlling
projects which are crucial and transferrable across industries, allowing me to explore career
opportunities in healthcare, finance, providing flexibility to my career path. This program will
also hone my problem solving abilities that will help me tackle complex challenges that arise
effectively. Knowledge gained through this course will help me to expand my father’s
business to the international level. This course covers a wide range of managerial
frameworks and skills, and after completing it, I anticipate being able to manage processes
according to requirements, coordinate timelines for various activities, and streamline the
process as a whole. I would be able to learn how to put together a plan for a new work
assignment and manage all the workings with the help of the course modules on project
initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and controlling, and closing.
Hence going for a Master’s Degree in Project Management feels like a natural progression to
sharpen my skill set as a manager and learn new techniques to handle my transport
business.
I am particularly drawn to the Central Queensland University due to its esteemed reputation
and excellent faculty in the field of Project Management. The university's emphasis on
practical, industry-focused learning aligns perfectly with my career aspirations. I am eager to
delve deeper into the theoretical foundations while also gaining hands-on experience
through internships and industry collaborations offered by the university. Furthermore, the
diverse and inclusive environment of the university is highly appealing to me. I believe that
studying alongside individuals from various backgrounds and cultures will broaden my
perspective and enhance my ability to navigate the complexities of working in a globalized
world.
I am highly motivated to study in the Australia due to its esteemed reputation for academic
excellence. I will have access to many resources, knowledgeable instructors, and cutting-
edge facilities while studying here, allowing me to get a superlative education that is
respected worldwide. In addition, the cosmopolitan environment and diversified student
body in the country will provide me a rare chance to communicate and work with people
from different backgrounds thus providing me with a top-notch education that will expose
me to fresh viewpoints, experiences, and ideas, fostering my personal and professional
development. I am looking forward to engaging with kids of all ethnicities and backgrounds,
which will give me a better knowledge of different cultures and perspectives.

I would like to return to India after finishing my Master’s degree. The Indian business market
has emerged as one of the world's fastest-growing business markets, with a lot of new
company entities joining the market. As a result, a considerable number of job opportunities
for business experts have arisen. Employers such as Reliance Industries Limited, Amazon,
Tata Motors, Infosys, TCS, KMPG, and Tech Mahindra, among others, would be at the top of
my priority list on my returned to India.

In conclusion, a Master's degree in Project Management will not only enhance my technical
abilities but also bridge the knowledge gaps and significantly improve my ability to lead and
manage teams effectively. Combined with my two years of practical experience, I believe this
education will catapult my career and contribute substantially to the success of our family
firm.
I am excited about the prospect of joining the esteemed Central Queensland University
community and am committed to making the most of this educational opportunity. Thank
