1. The T will provide students with an introductory
overview of the various body structures and organs (e.g.,
what they look like, their location).
- Show pictures of various internal organs and have SS
identify one by one.
Engage- Warm up 5 mins T-S
2. Give SS a sample outline of a human body. Instruct SS to
draw their own outlines on their notebook. Have them
label the body structures and organs that they have
learned about?

Quick review about the major internal body organs and the
brain.
1. The T will randomly ask SS these questions verbally or go
to the WB and write the correct answer:
What are the major internal body organs?
The teacher shows the picture illustrations or draws on the Engage- Warm
5 mins T-S
WB and ask SS to identify and label the important parts up
(brain, heart, lungs, kidneys, liver, small and large intestine
and stomach)
What is the characteristics of the brain?
How does the brain work in our body?
2. To start the lesson, the T will instruct SS to stand by their Motivation 10 Mins T-S
desk and show them how to take the heart rate.

Your heart rate is the number of times your heart beats
