My Work at Karma Capital

Below is the detailed listing all my activities at Karma and other areas including
operations. Work or coordination on compliance, handling ODD of investors, side
letters etc. of TARRA Fund [Mauritius based Fund] or AIF.
I am a detail-oriented Investment professional with credentials and hands-on
experience of 8+years in AIF/PMS Finance Operations with strong
quantitative, analytical and data science skills with experience in Operational
Due-diligence, Portfolio Reporting and Managing whole Trade cycle of AIF’s
and Mutual Funds
I am doing Executive MBA program from FMS Delhi. It is an evening program
which can be done along with job.

My Work at Karma Capital:

a) Financing:
• Subscriptions and Redemptions, dividends and Tax
verification and approving it, Grandfathering
• Investor system – Identifying potential clients using
Preqin and ACT Database.
• Calling and emailing potential investors
• Performance Reporting, Attribution calculation
• All bank accounts with authorized access regarding
cash
• Handling marketing material and CRM database.
b) Relationships:
• Relationships with Custodian, Administrators, Brokers
and Analysts in the Industry
• Newsletters, Investor Presentation, Monthly, Quarterly
and Yearly updates, Factsheet.
c) Trading- Life of a Trade-Beginning to End:
• Trading Authorization, Confirmation and Reconciliation
Process, Trading Errors
• Executing Brokers
• FX Trading
d) Fund Accounting:
• Administrator Reconciliations – NAV Restatements
• Month end NAV Review and of Daily and Month-End
work
e) IT Support/ Vendor Management:
• Providing IT support to the office and COO using
acquired knowledge
• Knowledge sharing and training
• EAPBX support
• Vendor management and miscellaneous tasks
• Email support/ liaisoning with Network Solutions with
access to all emails
f) Compliance, Staff and Litigation:
• Seeing and handling the staff and related matters
• Overseeing and representing Karma Capital in legal and
litigations
• Regulatory inquiries
g) EA to MD:
• Liaison between the executive and internal/external
stakeholders. Handling emails, phone calls, and other
forms of communication, and may draft and review
correspondence on behalf of the MD
• Handling all aspects of executive travel, including
booking flights, hotels, ground transportation, and
creating itineraries
• Preparing agendas, gather materials, and coordinate
logistics for meetings.
• Setting up of conference calls/meetings.
Obtain/research periodic data & create reports/
presentations for portfolio manager.
h) Dealer:
• Giving trades to Broker as per directions of Fund
Manager
i) Research:
• Assist Analysts and senior Analysts in updating and
verifying financial models, Comps and Valuation
• Assisting in financial analysis, earnings estimates,
and valuation
• Taking earnings estimates calls.
j) Databases:
• I am Proficient in Bloomberg, ACE Equity and Capitaline
• I am an Expert in Advanced Excel
• Good at SQL and Tableau
• Pursuing CFA I

At Banyan Capital Advisors LLP, I worked in


close co-ordination with the MD in Advisory-maintaining investment tracking
sheets and PMS Operations. I also used to attend investor calls and prepare
meeting notes.
