world? GIRLS.”

Nawal: Wonderful Girls! Today, I will give you the award winning story of friendship between women. Who would
expect that they will be folding back their page together. This when its started. They have been friends for almost
their lifespan. They are Luna and Yhan. They have all the fun together from school to their homes.
(In Picnic (Picture))
Yhan: Alam mo ba ung trend?
Luna: Ano na naming trend? Kakanood mo talaga nito ng kung ano-ano eh.
Yhan: Hindi ah, di ka lang tlaga updated. Palagi ka nalang kasi nakatutok sa libro.
Luna: Eh ano naman?
Yhan: Bahala ka nga jan.
Luna: Alam ko ano trend minimean mo uyy.
Yhan: Che…
Luna: Gusto mo gayahin ko pa para sau?
(Yhan still ignores her) Luna started to sing… “Wooohhh you look as beautiful as ever… you made me feel this way
somehow… I’m so inlove with you…” (James Arthur’s Say You Won’t Let Go Trend)
Yhan started to Jam to Luna in the lyrics “I’m so inlove with you…” until they finished the song.
Luna: Are you happy na?
Yhan: Tss, eh yung trend sa TikTok na sayaw?
Luna: Sayaw?
Yhan: Ipaplay ko tas ituro ko sau ah?
Luna: Patingin muna.
Yhan started to teach the TikTok trend to her best friend, Luna. They started to take video.
(Yhan and Luna is on TikTok)
Nawal: That’s how they hang out to each other so sweet. They are the good examples of a siblingship and friendship.
They have conquered that. What else would you wish if may ganyan ka ding kaibigan diba? But not until one day.
One day. Before the tragedy happens, this happened.
(In Yhan’s Outside Home (Picture))
Luna hugged Yhan so long.
Luna: Mamimiss kita. Bakit kailangan mo pang umalis?
Yhan: Alam mo naman ang istorya. Si Papa ang may gusto na pag aralin ako sa united states.
Luna: Paano naman ako? Ako nalang ba mang chichismis ki Miss Macapodi sa kadaldalan niya sa room? Ako nalang
din ba kakabahan kay ma’am Baclayo kapag may paoral? Ako nalang din bah hahanga kay Elvin Jhon na malapisopiya
ang dating?
Yhan: Wait, diba may pinili na si Elvin Jhon?
Luna: Oo, doon sa last week na role play niya.
Yhan: Mamimiss talaga kita sa ugali mong to HAHAHA
Luna: Ayaaaawww ko talagaaaaa. Natatakot pa rin ako kay Ma’am Baclayo.
Yhan: Grew up, ano ba. Magkikita din nmn tau eh…
Yhan finally gave her goodbye to Luna.

Nawal: On that day, Luna had a worst car accident while going home to her hometown after aparting from Yhan.
Yhan got a call while on the way to airport saying that Luna had a worst accident that she needs to have emergency
liver transplant for her to live. No second of time should waste because of how critical her condition is. Yhan rushed
to the hospital and didn’t even worry about her flight. She puts aside her father’s wants just to see Luna. She then
arrived to the hospital and confront Luna’s doctor.
Doctor: We need an immediate liver transplant for her.
Yhan: What can I do?
Doctor: I checked if we have a liver to transplant but there isn’t any.
Yhan worried so much, she can’t even think straightly. After 30 minutes of waiting, she decided to donate her liver
to her best friend, Luna who’s dying. She courageously looks for the doctor.
Yhan: Doc, I will be donating my liver to her.
Doctor: Are you sure?
Yhan: Yes, I am in so much pain seeing her dying. I can’t lose her.
Doctor: But… wait. Let me run some test to you.
After running a test for Yhan. The doctor found out something. If she donates her liver, she will not hold long. She
will die after a week.
Doctor: I want to tell you something before you really make sure of your decision.
Yhan: About my health?
Doctor: Yes. If you donate your liver, you won’t live any longer.
Yhan: How many days?
Doctor: You will last for at least a week.
Yhan tears up after hearing those. However, she chooses to die for her best friend.
Yhan: I will still be donating my liver to her even if it shortens my lifespan.
Doctor: Beware of the consequences.
The doctor processed the liver transplantation. They succeed. Luna lives and so Yhan.

After days, Luna woke up. Yhan is beside her.
Luna: Hi, Yhan.
Yhan: Bumalik ka. (sabay yakap)
Luna: Ano nangyari? Bakit nandito ka pa?
Yhan: It’s a long story, Luna. As long as okay ka…
Luna: Okay ka jan! An oba nangyari? Paano’t buhay pa ako?
Yhan ignored Luna and hugged her so tight.

Nawal: After a week, Yhan shows symptoms due to that liver donation. She can’t bring that matters to Luna because
she might get hurt and upset. She then kept it herself. What a moral courage Yhan displays for us.
Not in a long run, Luna was busy looking for another donor that can be transplanted to Yhan. She found a
hospital, but it costs a lot. She tried to seek for help to Yhan’s dad in abroad, but Yhan’s dad cannot be reached. Luna
did sacrifice her tuition for college to afford the cost of transplantation. Later on, Yhan collapsed. And she still can
survive if an immediate transplantation takes place. Then may be that’s God plan because the operation succeed.
Hence, Yhan and Luna continued their lives successfully. The design of their story is indeed an award
winning. How can a girl be so selfless to give his liver for a friend and how can a girl be so reckless to risk her future
for a friend. That thing is how the two folded back their lives together. They saved one another.
