 RESOLUTION NO.015, SERIES OF 2023

“RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF BASKETBALL UNIFORMS

FOR THE ARAW NG TUBOD EVENT”

WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Kalilangan recognizes the significance

of the Araw ng Tubod event, which is set to take place on October 20, 2023, as a celebration
that brings together the community;

WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Kabataan deems it essential to provide basketball uniforms for
our players who will participate in the said event, promoting unity and teamwork within our
community;

WHEREAS, the 2023 Sangguniang Kabataan budget contains provisions for "Other
Expenses," "Office Supplies," and "Travel Expenses" that can be utilized for this purpose;

NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Kalilangan

that:

Section 1: The Sangguniang Kabataan hereby authorizes the purchase of basketball uniforms
for the players who will participate in the Araw ng Tubod event on October 20, 2023.

Section 2: The Sangguniang Kabataan shall allocate an amount of sixteen thousand six
hundred two pesos (Php 16,602) from the 2023 budget, which will be sourced from the
remaining balances in the "Other Expenses," "Office Supplies," and "Travel Expenses"
allocations.

Section 3: The Sangguniang Kabataan Chairman/Presiding Officer, Edsel A. Hibong, and the
Sangguniang Kabataan Treasurer, April Jade G. Catamaan, are hereby authorized to
coordinate the purchase of the basketball uniforms, including selecting the design and sizes,
and ensuring the timely distribution to the players.

Section 4: This resolution shall take effect immediately upon approval.

SO RESOLVED, this 11th day of September 2023, in the Barangay Kalilangan Office,
Municipality of Tubod, Province of Lanao del Norte, Philippines.

 RESOLUTION NO.016, SERIES OF 2023

“A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE BARANGAY TREASURER TO

TRANSACT FINANCIAL MATTERS:

WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Barangay of Barangay Kalilangan has passed Resolution No.
015, Series of 2023, entitled "RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF
BASKETBALL UNIFORMS FOR THE ARAW NG TUBOD EVENT," which authorizes
specific financial transactions;

WHEREAS, Resolution No. 015, Series of 2023, requires the execution of financial
transactions, including the allocation of funds for the purchase of basketball uniforms for the
Araw ng Tubod event on October 20, 2023, to promote unity and teamwork within the
community;

WHEREAS, it is necessary to designate an authorized representative to transact and

facilitate the financial matters specified in the aforementioned resolution;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, by the Sangguniang

Kabataan of Barangay Kalilangan, Tubod, Lanao del Norte, in a emergency session
assembled:

SECTION 1: The Barangay Treasurer, Ma. Teresa R. Ventures, is hereby authorized and
empowered to transact and facilitate all necessary financial matters related to the execution of
Resolution No. 015, Series of 2023, including but not limited to:

● Allocating sixteen thousand six hundred two pesos (Php 16,602) from the 2023
budget, sourced from the "Other Expenses," "Office Supplies," and "Travel Expenses"
allocations, for the purchase of basketball uniforms for the Araw ng Tubod event on
October 20, 2023.

SECTION 2: The Barangay Treasurer shall ensure that the allocated funds are used
exclusively for the purchase of basketball uniforms as specified in Resolution No. 015, Series
of 2023, and shall adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines governing such
transactions.

SECTION 3: The Barangay Treasurer shall keep accurate records of all financial
transactions and expenses related to the purchase of basketball uniforms and provide regular
updates to the Sangguniang Barangay regarding the status of these transactions.

SECTION 4: This resolution shall take effect immediately upon approval.

SECTION 5: A copy of this resolution shall be furnished to the Barangay Treasurer for their
guidance and compliance.
