Thoa: My favourite gadget is the Smart Phone. How about you?
Trang: Me too. The technological equipment which I like the most is smartphone. When did you
have it?
Thoa: It’s a present from my dad on my 18th birthday. And you ?
Trang: My parents bought it for me for 6 months.
Thoa: How much is your smartphone, Trang?
Trang: It’s 17 million VND. And you?
Thoa: It’s about 10 milion dong.
Trang: Why do you like it?
Thoa: I really like using smart phone because they have many benegits such as if you have ab
emergency then you can text someone and ask for help. Smartphone also make it convenient for
people to surf the internet. In this “selfie” generation, the camera is so important. It save people
from buying separate digital camera to take photos and videos. Smartphones are also viewed as
a source of entertainment. You can play games, music, and use it to read books. What about you?
Trang: Hmmm, I have a different thought. I like smartphones because they are essential and
have many benefits in life. First, smartphone is the most convenient means of communication.
Next, only by a smart phone, I can study anything through teaching and learning applications
such as online courses, teaching videos, academic documents,…Besides, I use my smartphone to
find my way when I get lost. And it also helps me make more new friends, connect with more
things. Although we think differently, it's all the use of the smartphone and it's really useful for
us.
Thoa: How often do you use this smart phone?
Trang: I use my smartphone everyday. I use it for lessons, entertainment, communication with
relatives, and socialising with friends. And you?
Thoa: Oh yeah. I also use it every day. I use it to play games, listen to music and communicate
with family and friends.
Trang: I’m sorry, I have to go now. See you later!
Thoa: Oh. See ya!
