I. NAME OF THE PROJECT: BOTTLE HOLDER ( MACRAME)

II. OBJECTIVES:

1. Create a good quality bottle holder


2. Initiate proper macrame knotting techniques required for the bottle holder.
3. Apply safety measures effectively while using tools such as scissors or any cutting
instruments.

V. PROCEDURE:

1. Prepare all the materials and tools needed.


2. Cut 10 pieces of cord, 1 meters each.
3. Secure the 8 cords in a metal ring and using lark’s head knot.
4. Divide the cords into 4 section by making 2 square knot.
5. make alternating square knot leaving about 1 inch of space for every knot
6. Repeat the process until you reach the desired length for your bottle.
7. Once you reach the desired length, Divide the ropes into 2 parts. Each parts consists of
8 dangling ropes.
9. Hold the 8 cords again and insert into the metal D ring and make a gathering knot. Repeat the
process in the other side.
10. To make a sling strap. Get the 2 pieces left cord and fold it in half. Attached to D ring using
lark’s head knot. And make a square knot.
11. Wrap the 2 ropes in the middle to the other side D ring forming a lark’s head knot and
continue to make a square knot. Once you reach the end lock the cord and cut the excess. Now
your macrame bottle holder is ready.

II. OBJECTIVES:

1. Create a good quality coconut midribs tray.


2. Acquire and refine the skills needed to work with coconut midribs, demonstrating
proficiency in crafting techniques such as weaving and shaping.
3. Observe safety rule while working

V. PROCEDURE:

1. Prepare all the materials and tools needed.


2. Prepare 38 pcs of fresh coconut midribs.
3. Make 6 sets of 6pcs set aside 2 pcs to use later.
4. Arrange the midribs in a pattern to form the base of your tray. You can create a simple
rectangular or square shape or experiment with more intricate designs.
5. Weave the midribs by two.
6. Get the remaining 2pcs of midribs and create a large ring
7. Make the base of the tray by pulling the harder part of the midribs
8. Get the 3 midribs and weave under and over counter clockwise.
9. Pull the midribs to tighten the ribs.
10. Cut the excess on the base part.
11. Get one set of midribs, go under 2 sets and weave over the next 2 sets. Repeat the process
12. Tighten the stand base
13. Lock over one set and under 1 set.
14. Remove the excess midribs, polish it with spray paint and your midribs tray is ready!

II. OBJECTIVES:

1. Create a good quality macrame plant hanger


2. Develop proficiency in crafting a macrame plant hanger, enhancing knot-
tying skills and overall macrame techniques.
3. Adhere to safety guidelines and practices throughout the crafting process.

V. PROCEDURE:

1. Cut 9 pieces of nylon cord, with the length of 2 meters each. Additionally, cut 2
pieces of nylon cord, each with a length of 1 meter.
2. Set aside the three nylon cord and group the remaining 8 nylon cord, fold it in half
and locate the center.
3. To create a handle, take a 2-meter nylon cord and form a loop by wrapping it
around the bundle of rope. Wrap it tightly until it reaches the desired length for the
size of the loop needed.
4. Gather the wrapped cords together and take another 1-meter nylon cord to wrap
them together. Wrap it tightly until it reaches the desired length, then lock it by
inserting it inside the first wrap and cut off the excess cord.
5. Divide the cords into four groups of two cords each. Tie 20 square knot with each
group.
6. Create 10 spiral square knot within the same group, leaving a gap of 4 inches from
the initial 20-square knot you crafted.
7. Within the identical set, fasten a Josephine knot, ensuring a 2-inch gap for each
knot.
8. Repeat step 7, this time leaving a 1-inch space between each knot.
9. Create a spiral square knot within the same cluster, ensuring there is a 1.5-inch
gap between each knot.
10. This time alternate the cord, and create a 3 square knot, and make sure to leave a
1-inch gap from the spiral square knot.
11. Repeat step 10.
12. Repeat step 4. Cut off the excess and use lighter to scorch some extra excess rope
to make it shiny. Then your macrame plant hanger is now ready!

1. Create good quality knitted pencil case.


2. Acquire proficiency in executing basic knit and purl stitches, maintaining an
even tension throughout the project.

V. PROCEDURE:

1. Prepare all the materials and tools needed.


2. Cast on 50 stitches to create the width of your pencil case.
3. Knit the first row.
4. Cast purl stitch on the second row.
5. Continue knitting every row (garter stitch) or alternate between knit and purl rows
(stockinette stitch) until the piece reaches a height of 6 inches, measuring from the
cast-on edge.
6. Once you reach the desired length, bind off the stitches using knitting needle.
7. Use a crochet hook to create a binding along the sides of your pencil case. Cut off
the excess.
8. Attach the zipper of your pencil case by using a sewing machine. And your knitted
pencil case is now ready!
