EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
ABSTRACT

This research paper aims to determine the impact of laboratory activities to the

performance of BTLED major in H.E students. This study assesses the frequency, content, and

effectiveness of laboratory activities within the TLE curriculum and explores how these activities

relate to student comprehension and overall performance.

This study underscores the valuable contribution of laboratory activities in enhancing the

academic performance of TLE students. It emphasizes the importance of integrating practical,

hands-on learning experiences into the TLE curriculum to better equip students for success in

their chosen fields and future career opportunities

CHAPTER 1

THE PROBLEM AND ITS SCOPE

INTRODUCTION

The K to 12 Program offers a comprehensive 12-year basic education, focusing on

mastery of concepts, skill development, lifelong learning, and preparing graduates for tertiary

education and entrepreneurship

During the teaching and learning process it is very important to focus not just only on

theories but also in practical experience. The Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education

focuses on students' skills rather than their existing knowledge, providing them with meaningful

experiences that are relevant to their development.

Hands-on activities enhance students' cognitive understanding and social skills by

fostering teamwork, diplomatic problem-solving, delegation, and teamwork, thereby improving

their understanding of subject material. Therefore producing a globally competitive students

equipped with knowledge, skills, experience, and values introduction.


STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

This study seeks to determine the impact of laboratory activities to the competencies of

Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education major in Home Economics students;
