I’m interested in the position of senior project engineer because I can see that my project
management skills could help support the development and execution of Greenfield and
Brownfield projects for the NLNG Production Assets and Non-plant Assets. Also, I like the
culture of this organization and really connect with your vision and mission statement, it’s clear
that your passionate drive for operational excellence, high HSE standards, putting out gas flares
for a cleaner environment and helping your staff develop their potential are my core values. Plus,
Liquefied natural gas (LNG) provides a solution for safely storing and transporting natural gas
where pipelines aren't available or viable. LNG produces 40% less carbon dioxide (CO2) than
coal and 30% less than oil, this makes it the cleanest of the fossil fuels. LNG is used in energy
generation as low carbon transition-fuel to help meet the growing power demands in developed
and developing countries before a complete shift to clean renewable energy can be achieved.
Natural gas supplies about 1/3 of the world’s primary energy consumption, with its primary uses
being heating and generating electricity, having more of my experience based in the power
sector, I believe this job will be a great fit for my personality.
