Course Learning Outcome (CLO):

At the end of the course the student will be able to:
 Analyze and determine the demand and supply of potable water and waste management system for a building.
 Analyze parameters of designing water supply and drainage system for a building and building site.
 Identify and apply the technical terminology in relation to Water, Sewage, Fresh water, Waste management, Fire protection,
extinguishing systems to enable them to collaborate with other construction professionals.
 Design effective and sustainable building systems of Water, Sewage, Fresh water, Waste management, Fire protection and
extinguishing systems.

Chapter one - Introduction to water and building service design Chapter four - Septic tank and soak away pits
Chapter two - Water resource and water supply systems Chapter five - Storm water drainage in buildings
Chapter three - Waste water drainage in buildings Chapter six - Fire protection, Extinguishing systems
