Candidates Requirements and Job Details

Job Responsibilities

Classroom Assistant’s (CA’s) primary responsibilities include:

 Facilitate and monitor student learning.


 Assist in implementing all policies and procedures related to student behavior and well-being.
 Assist, ensure, and respond to health and safety needs of all members of the school community.
 Assist in planning for, and delivery and assessment of the education program.
 Assist in creating a safe, healthy, and attractive learning environment.
 Other duties as requested by line manager(s).

Tasks Classroom Assistants (CA’s) may undertake:

 Provide children supervision in assigned areas.


 Guide and assist children in the development of eating, dressing, and toileting habits.
 Plan, resource, and lead learning activities such as reading stories, listening to children read, singing
songs, dramatic play, etc.
 Contribute to the maintenance, creation and/or retrieval and storage of learning resources.
 Attending assembly.
 Assist in activity center design, set up, clean up, and changeover.
 Assist in the creation of student work displays and learning prompts.
 Maintain formative assessment records of each student’s developmental milestones,
 accidents, attendance, and performance.
 Attend and contribute to:
 Collaborative planning sessions.
 Training Sessions.
 Other meetings.
 Be present, listen to, and engage with students during whole class activities.

Job Requirements:

Attested Degree and Relevant Experience Certificate is Must

Qualifications:

- The proposed candidates must have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree (preferably in education but not
necessary)
- OR a professional diploma / certification in Early Childhood Education coupled with experience with
children.

Experience:
- Candidates must have professional experience with children aged 0-10 in the Education Industry (with
experience certificate)

Philippines
 Police Clearance from Philippines (After Offer Letter Issuance)
 Medical Test from Philippines (After Offer Letter Issuance)
 Degree Attestation from UAE Embassy in Philippines (After Offer Letter but before Visa Issuance)

UAE
 Degree Attestation from Ministry of Foreign Affairs in UAE (After Attestation from Philippines before visa
issuance) will be employee responsibility.
 Police Clearance from UAE (After Arrival in UAE) will be employee responsibility.
 Medical Test from UAE (After Arrival in UAE) will be company responsibility.

Language:
Candidates must be fluent in English with excellent pronunciation.

Normal Working Time (may change as per requirements):


CAs will work Monday to Thursday 7.00am to 3.00 pm Friday 7.00am to 12.30pm.

Vacation:
CAs will be entitled to leave as per U.A.E labor law regulations during summer vacation.

Deployment:
Each CA will be assigned to one or two classrooms during academic semesters. CAs maybe deployed during school
holidays in school activities, or other student- related activities.

Professional conduct expectations:

 CAs should respect UAE and Islamic values and culture.


 Maintain effective communication channels with all colleagues.
 Be continuously up to date with the roles and responsibilities of a CA.
 Maintain respectful relationships with students and parents.
 No Visible Tattoos
