Start-up cell team: Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) Gurukul kangri (Deemed to be)
University organized the workshop entitled "Startup-Your first step" with four themes on 10th
July 2021 via the online platform Cisco-Webex. The workshop was attended by 152 participants
including young researchers, scholars, Professors, and students from all across the country.
Faculties and students of Gurukula Kangri (Deemed to be University) from the various
department also joined the workshop and gained knowledge of startup.

The workshop hosted by Dr. Prince Prashant Sharma began with introductory opening remarks.
Mr. Kapil Pandey introduced the webinar topic and how we can achieve our objective. After that
welcome address was given by Dr. Harish Chandra. Then gathering was addressed by speakers
on their time. They talk about the startup idea, patenting, registration and funding. They
discussed the probable question that comes into the mind of the candidate. At the end session,
Dr. Nidhi Handa gave a vote of thanks to the speakers for sharing important information with the
students and congratulates the startup cell committee IIC GVK Haridwar.
