 Ask about people, their positions, or groups of people
 Typical responses are about names of people.
 The responses may contain personal pronouns (I/he/she) or may be
answered as It has not been decided / Let me check.
 Questions starts with question word who.
 You should determine whether the question word refers to a subject or
an object in the question.

 Answers often include names of places and prepositions about
direction, position, or location (in, at, by, next to, and around)
 The verb go is often used such as go to, go straight.

Keys to remember:
 Answers often contains specific information of time (ex: at 3 o’clock, 2
days ago), or other time expressions (ex: by the end of this week, early
next month).
 Answers may also be in the form of It hasn’t been decided yet or
When he arrives … even though they are not directly related to time.
 You should focus on the verb tenses used in the questions.
