MEMORANDUM

SUBJECT : Request to Conduct “White Run” for Class 2025 Slow Drill
Platoon Aspirants

DATE : August 24, 2023

1. References:
a. PNPA Slow Drill Platoon Manual
b. Cadet Guide, also known as Maroon and Gold book: and
c. Drills and Ceremonies Manual.

2. In connection with the above references, all second-class cadets or the

class 2025 (except for Silent Drill Company Officer’s ) will be having road run wherein
the Slow drillers (direct upper class) will be the supervisors.

3. The White run is done in preparation for the first Phase of becoming a
Slow Drill Aspirant which will be soon called “Slow run”, which will also serve as
building Phase of strength called “Power”.

4. Members of the Slow Drill Platoon would like to request that the conduct
of white run starting on August 28, 2023 will be done every Mondays, Wednesdays,
and Fridays from 4:00pm to 5:30pm and 3:00pm to 5:30pm during Saturday and
Sundays.

5. The Members of the Class 2025 will run three rounds around the battalion
area wearing jogging pants, corps shirt, Pershing cap, white gloves and rifle. After
running, all members of class 2025 will be performing three sets of fifty knuckle push
ups that serves as an exercise to achieve a strong grip on holding riffles.
 6. To also strengthen the upper body of the aspirants, listed authorized riffle
exercises will be performed in four by ten counts;
a. Flex elbow;
b. Flex elbow forward thrust;
c. Flex elbow fall behind back;
d. Flex elbow forward thrust fall behind back; and
e. Jumping jacks with riffle.

7. Furthermore, the members of Slow Drill Platoon request that a White

Run will also be included in the morning exercises where members create a
separate formation beside the Hawk Company to help them improve their agility
even more.

8. Attached herewith are the List of the members of Slow Drill Platoon
that will be supervising the conduct of white run.

rifle, after running all members of class 2025 will be performing three sets of fifty

 5. The members of class 2025 will be also performing the following
authorized
riffle exercises with the count of four by ten to strengthen their upper body;

d. Flex elbow forward thrust fall behind back; and
c. Jumping jacks with riffle.

6. Furthermore, the members of Slow Drill Platoon request that there will be
White Run also during morning where they will form a separate formation beside the
Hawk Company in order to strengthen them more.

7. Attached here with are the List of members of Slow Drill Platoon that will
be Supervising during the conduct of white run.
