to Jerusalem, who are his witnesses unto the people. And he said unto his lad, Run, find out now
the arrows which I shoot. If he commit iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men, and
with the stripes of the children of men: But my mercy shall not depart away from him, as I took
[it] from Saul, whom I put away before thee. And Balak did as Balaam had said, and offered a
bullock and a ram on [every] altar. And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from

of Israel unto the way of the wilderness; but the battle overtook them; and them which [came]
out of the cities they destroyed in the midst of them. Furthermore David the king said unto all
the congregation, Solomon my son, whom alone God hath chosen, [is yet] young and tender, and the

Pelaiah, and Akkub, and Johanan, and Dalaiah, and Anani, seven. Again the word of the LORD came
unto me, saying, Son of man, thy brethren, [even] thy brethren, the men of thy kindred, and all
the house of Israel wholly, [are] they unto whom the inhabitants of Jerusalem have said, Get you
far from the LORD: unto us is this land given in possession. I tell you, Nay: but, except ye
repent, ye shall all likewise perish. And the ark of the LORD continued in the house of Obededom
the Gittite three months: and the LORD blessed Obededom, and all his household. So the priests,
and the Levites, and the porters, and the singers, and [some] of the people, and the Nethinims,
and all Israel, dwelt in their cities; and when the seventh month came, the children of Israel
[were] in their cities. And Solomon gathered chariots and horsemen: and he had a thousand and
four hundred chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen, which he placed in the chariot cities, and

is] good. And he shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off; and they
shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not
lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more. And Jesus saith unto
them, Yea; have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected
praise? And thou shalt say unto him, The LORD God of the Hebrews hath sent me unto thee, saying,
Let my people go, that they may serve me in the wilderness: and, behold, hitherto thou wouldest
not hear. And they came near. After these things Jesus walked in Galilee: for he would not walk
in Jewry, because the Jews sought to kill him. And it was [so], when they came into the midst of
the city, that Ishmael the son of Nethaniah slew them, [and cast them] into the midst of the
pit, he, and the men that [were] with him. The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,
Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the
children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the
stick of Ephraim, and [for] all the house of Israel his companions: And join them one to another
into one stick; and they shall become one in thine hand. He hath remembered his covenant for
ever, the word [which] he commanded to a thousand generations. [And] in the eleventh year of

made for laughter, and wine maketh merry: but money answereth all [things]. I am not able to
bear all this people alone, because [it is] too heavy for me. And the people knew not that
Jonathan was gone. [Of] the oaks of Bashan have they made thine oars; the company of the
Ashurites have made thy benches [of] ivory, [brought] out of the isles of Chittim. And their

now is, and of that which is to come. And Balaam said unto God, Balak the son of Zippor, king of
Moab, hath sent unto me, [saying], Behold, [there is] a people come out of Egypt, which covereth

returned to the man of God, he and all his company, and came, and stood before him: and he said,
Behold, now I know that [there is] no God in all the earth, but in Israel: now therefore, I pray
thee, take a blessing of thy servant. And they buried him in the border of his inheritance in
Timnathserah, which [is] in mount Ephraim, on the north side of the hill of Gaash. And the LORD
said unto him, What [is] that in thine hand? A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous

by faith. I saw in the night visions, and, behold, [one] like the Son of man came with the

their hands. Because he saith, Whither I go, ye cannot come. Neither say they in their heart,
Let us now fear the LORD our God, that giveth rain, both the former and the latter, in his
season: he reserveth unto us the appointed weeks of the harvest. If thou wilt not observe to do
all the words of this law that are written in this book, that thou mayest fear this glorious and
fearful name, THE LORD THY GOD; Then the LORD will make thy plagues wonderful, and the plagues

continuance. For my sighing cometh before I eat, and my roarings are poured out like the waters.

1Yet have thou respect unto the prayer of thy servant, and to his supplication, O LORD my God,
to hearken unto the cry and to the prayer, which thy servant prayeth before thee to day: 1That
thine eyes may be open toward this house night and day, [even] toward the place of which thou
hast said, My name shall be there: that thou mayest hearken unto the prayer which thy servant
shall make toward this place. And I punished them oft in every synagogue, and compelled [them]

at Shiloh in the land of Canaan, saying, The LORD commanded by the hand of Moses to give us
cities to dwell in, with the suburbs thereof for our cattle. The crown is fallen [from] our
head: woe unto us, that we have sinned! For this our heart is faint; for these [things] our eyes
are dim. This [is] the law of him that hath an issue, and [of him] whose seed goeth from him,
and is defiled therewith; And of her that is sick of her flowers, and of him that hath an issue,

bunches of raisins, and wine, and oil, and oxen, and sheep abundantly: for [there was] joy in
Israel. Then said [Jehu] to Bidkar his captain, Take up, [and] cast him in the portion of the
field of Naboth the Jezreelite: for remember how that, when I and thou rode together after Ahab
his father, the LORD laid this burden upon him; Surely I have seen yesterday the blood of
Naboth, and the blood of his sons, saith the LORD; and I will requite thee in this plat, saith
the LORD. The transgression of the wicked saith within my heart, [that there is] no fear of God
before his eyes. The people answered and said, Thou hast a devil: who goeth about to kill thee?
A brutish man knoweth not; neither doth a fool understand this. And this commandment have we
from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also. And they killed the passover, and the
priests sprinkled [the blood] from their hands, and the Levites flayed [them]. [Those that be]

away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and dieth in them; for his iniquity that
he hath done shall he die. But his wife said unto him, If the LORD were pleased to kill us, he
would not have received a burnt offering and a meat offering at our hands, neither would he have
shewed us all these [things], nor would as at this time have told us [such things] as these. Now
Korah, the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, and Dathan and Abiram, the sons of
Eliab, and On, the son of Peleth, sons of Reuben, took [men]: And they rose up before Moses,
with certain of the children of Israel, two hundred and fifty princes of the assembly, famous in
the congregation, men of renown: And they gathered themselves together against Moses and against
Aaron, and said unto them, [Ye take] too much upon you, seeing all the congregation [are] holy,
every one of them, and the LORD [is] among them: wherefore then lift ye up yourselves above the
congregation of the LORD? For now have I chosen and sanctified this house, that my name may be
there for ever: and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually. I will smite them with
the pestilence, and disinherit them, and will make of thee a greater nation and mightier than
they. Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple:

more also, except, as the LORD hath sworn to David, even so I do to him; To translate the
kingdom from the house of Saul, and to set up the throne of David over Israel and over Judah,
from Dan even to Beersheba. But if [it be] of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is
no more work. As it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of
peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! But they have not all obeyed the gospel. And now,
because ye have done all these works, saith the LORD, and I spake unto you, rising up early and
speaking, but ye heard not; and I called you, but ye answered not; Therefore will I do unto
[this] house, which is called by my name, wherein ye trust, and unto the place which I gave to
you and to your fathers, as I have done to Shiloh. He that refuseth instruction despiseth his

are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection. And Bezaleel the son of Uri,

there the LORD shall redeem thee from the hand of thine enemies. They shall come, and shall
declare his righteousness unto a people that shall be born, that he hath done [this]. So I went,

and all that he did, and his might, how he warred, and how he recovered Damascus, and Hamath,
[which belonged] to Judah, for Israel, [are] they not written in the book of the chronicles of
the kings of Israel? Nay: but by the law of faith. And we said unto him, We [are] true [men]; we

offering mingled with oil: for to day the LORD will appear unto you. And if the righteous

see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: And on my servants and on my handmaidens I
will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy: And I will shew wonders in
heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke: The sun
shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the
Lord come: And it shall come to pass, [that] whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall
be saved. But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of
