 Trial Objective: Determine if MillSAVOR™ Liquid Concentrate
improved mill performance and pellet quality
Three-day trial
MillSAVOR Liquid Concentrate add at 2 ounces per ton
Processing water added at 0%, 0.5%, 0.75% and 1.0%

Mill metrics and feed samples:

Moisture: mash, hot mash and cooled pellets
Milling performance: tons per hour, amperage, steam setting and temperature

Conditioner settings limited ton per hour to 25

 Conclusions
• Maintaining PDI
• Increased or maintained PDI during the trial
• Addition of 1% water increased PDI
• Water used to aid dispersion of 2 ounces of MillSAVOR™ Liquid Concentrate
• Mash moisture increased by 0.50, 0.75 and 1.00%
• Cooler removed processing moisture
• Reduced amps per ton
• Goal was to increase throughput by 10 tons per hour
• At time of the trial, the conditioner was setup for maximum retention time which limited
throughput
• Trial was conducted pelleting an average of 25 tons per hour
